Future Educators
We were approached by John of Gaunt School to create a promotional video for their School Centred Initial Teacher Training (SCITT) programme. The aim was to showcase the strength and impact of their teacher training offering, highlighting real experiences from trainees and mentors, the supportive learning environment, and the pathway into a rewarding teaching career.
The video needed to appeal to prospective applicants by capturing the professionalism, community spirit, and hands-on training that define the programme. Through interviews, classroom footage, and dynamic storytelling, we set out to create a compelling piece that informs, inspires, and encourages future teachers to take their first step with confidence.
A combination of personal storytelling and dynamic visuals
We focused on capturing the real voices and vibrant environments that define the programme. We conducted in-depth interviews with senior staff, current trainees, and experienced teachers to provide authentic insights into the support, structure, and impact of the training experience.
These interviews were complemented by rich B-roll footage filmed across various partner schools, showcasing trainees in action, engaging classroom moments, and the positive relationships built with pupils. This combination of personal storytelling and dynamic visuals allowed us to create a compelling, informative video that reflects the values of the SCITT programme and inspires future educators to join.
